About this plant

If you’re looking for a plant that’s easy to live with, the Rubber Plant is a great place to start. It’s known for being low maintenance and happy in lower light, making it a reliable choice for busy homes or rooms that don’t get much sun. Its large, dark green leaves have a natural shine that adds an instant sense of calm and structure to any space.

Part of the fig family, Ficus elastica originates from Southeast Asia, where it grows into an impressive tree in the wild. Indoors, it stays much more contained but still brings that same bold, leafy presence. It’s particularly good for filling empty corners or adding height without feeling overwhelming.

One of the reasons this plant is so popular is how forgiving it is. It doesn’t ask for much - just occasional watering and a consistent spot out of direct sunlight. With very little effort, it will grow steadily and keep its leaves looking glossy and healthy all year round.

Returns

If you'd like to return a living item, let the team know within 30 days by emailing info@leafenvy.co.uk or live chat if online. Please attach a photo of the faulty or damaged plant. Other items can be returned for a refund within 30 days as long as they're unused and in re-saleable condition. Please note that return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
