What tools will you need
Find the plant that you would like to repot. You'll need a nursery pot that is 3-5cm larger than the one your plant is currently in and some suitable potting mix. Check out our 100% vegan and peat free Leaf Envy potting mix!
Fill up your nursery pot with soil
Start by filling up your new nursery pot around a quarter full with potting mix and press it down so that it is compact. This will help to remove any small air pockets in the soil.
Remove your plant from it's nursery pot
Lift the plant you would like to repot out of its current nursery pot and skim off the top layer of soil. Prune and massage the root ball to loosen up the roots and dispose of any excess soil.
Place into your new pot
Place the plant in its new pot and fill it up with potting mix. Make sure that you pack down the soil as you go. Again, this will help to remove air pockets in the soil. Fill the nursery pot with soil right up to the top.
Give it some water
Water the soil evenly and gently, making sure that every root is hydrated, nourished and given attention. And you're done. Ever so simple!
