(Ficus Benghalensis; Strangler Fig; Banyan Tree)
Medium, indirect light or dappled sunshine.
Weekly watering. Make sure the top 2-3 inches of soil are dry before watering & discard excess water through the drainage hole to prevent root rot.
The Ficus Audrey is a tropical plant, so it will thrive in humid conditions. Create humidity through misting, using a humidifier or place your plant on a pebble water tray.
Warm temperatures are best; avoid temperatures below 15 degrees celsius.
You can feed your plant liquid fertiliser monthly in the growing season.
Toxic - keep away from pets and small children.
Additional Care Information:
This is a super easy plant to propagate by taking cuttings. Choose stems that are not woody and place them in water to root and then transfer into the soil.
- Leaves falling off: lack of humidity
- Dark spots on leaves/drooping leaves: overwatering
- Yellowing leaves: underwatering
